- Pursue opportunities to consolidate larger dollar purchases and supply management to include storerooms
- Prepare and publish specifications for bids, evaluate bid responses, contract award and creation, verify history of supplier service and their ability to meet contract specification
- Search out new suppliers based on safety, quality, service as well as competitive pricing in a total cost environment
- Perform procurement functions for non-routine goods and services
