We are seeking full-time Production Associate Team Members for our Zwolle, LA Engineered Lumber facility.
About the Job
- Total commitment to working safe and following all safety rules and regulations.
- Responsible for cleaning the assigned production area, which involves sweeping and removing debris.
- Responsible for operating equipment in assigned area when operators are on break or otherwise not available.
- Feeding or placing items onto equipment for processing or removing items after processing.
- Interpreting work instructions adequately and successfully completing tasks as delegated.
- Safe start up and shut down of equipment in assigned area of responsibility.
- Must demonstrate willingness and ability to learn new jobs & skills.
- Communicating with team members & leadership to ensure consistent exchange of information relative to position.
Requirements
- All applicants must have a high school diploma or GED.
- Steady, documented work history.
- Willingness to work a twelve-hour rotating shift, to include weekends and holidays and/or other shift schedules as assigned.
- Willingness and ability to wear all required personal protective equipment.
- Able to work in extreme heat and cold.
- Good communication skills.
- Must be team oriented.
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the position, which includes climbing stairs, navigating catwalks, lifting up to 50 pounds, stooping, and bending.
- Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment testing process.
- Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment background check, drug screen and education verification.
- Willingship and ability to learn new jobs & skills.
- Resume which adequately documents employment history must be provided at time of application.
- Willingness to work in Zwolle, Louisiana without requiring relocation assistance.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Two (2) years employment experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Experience operating a forklift or other mobile equipment.
- Basic computer experience.
