What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Liason/Supervisor position at WFQ Inc.?
WFQ Inc. has two internal positions for 2 Quality Liason/ Supervisors to work on-site at one of our customers in Metro Detroit area. We have 2nd shift (2pm to 10pm or 3pm to 11) and 3rd shift (10pm to 6am or 11pm to 7am) shift times can varied depending on the location you will be working. These positions are direct hire with WFQ Inc. Interviews will be held our Canton office.
Shift Supervisor
Supervise WFQ operations in accordance with customer plant policies and procedures. Assist in supervising and training team leaders and inspectors to customer specifications as directed by Regional manager. Ensure smooth operation during shift while continually communicating with personnel on floor to ensure proper support.
- Supervise, train, and lead quality inspectors as directed by site manager
- Maintain the daily schedule of all active projects and verify all approved billable positions are filled. Work closely with Regional Manager and office administrator to assure coverage is available when needed.
- Verify and maintain updated signed work instructions are present
- Verify each associate has read, understands and has signed the work approved work instructions
- Verify that all staff has be trained to the plant policy and procedures specific the plant they are working.
- Maintain sufficient trained staff to keep projects operating to full capacity including but not limited to on boarding and interviewing when Regional Manager is unavailable.
- Develop all new and current employees in conjunction with Team Leaders in accountability, team work, and a positive work environment.
- Oversee all training of personnel including quality inspectors, team leaders. Verify that all training logs are being updated and personnel are being trained properly.
- Verify and enter payroll/Billing hours, inspection logs and sort reports into the QDC daily.
- Assure present operation structure and procedures are followed as trained and all documents are accurately maintained and submitted to the Administrative Assistant at the close of each project. This will include submission of the project checklists and all supporting documentation. Manage and maintain project folders in hard copy form to be turned in monthly.
- Continually review inconsistencies in performance or quality with Regional Operations Manager and Human Resources.
- Ensure a clean and safe work area
- Communicate with other Shift Supervisors and Regional Manager
- And other duties as assigned
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $25.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Weekends as needed
