Job Summary
The Central Load Controller is responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient loading of aircraft by preparing and verifying weight and balance documentation. This role involves coordinating with flight dispatch, baggage handlers, and ramp supervisors to maintain safety standards, fuel efficiency, and accurate load calculations. The Agent also ensures compliance with security procedures and reporting requirements.
Pay : $22.50 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Complete CLC Planning
- Handling of aircraft reports and all relevant flight reports
- Prepare weight and balance sheets for aircraft.
- Verify and process ULD allocation and payload telex from flight dispatch.
- Check and validate transit passenger counts and pit / compartment weights.
- Determine allowable traffic load and estimated baggage weights.
- Perform pre-trim loading to maintain safety and fuel efficiency.
- Coordinate with baggage handlers to verify actual loading.
- Finalize load sheets and ensure weight and balance conditions meet safety limits.
- Transmit load data messages (LDM, CPM) and make necessary corrections.
- Maintain flight records, including load sheets and security documentation.
- Monitor and report security breaches or non-compliance with site security protocols.
