Job Summary
The duties of the Coordinator, Flight Turnaround Operations includes overseeing flight turnaround operations in order to ensure compliance with all federal and international regulations and requirements relating to a safe and secure operation. The primary duties include; Coordination of all activates required during the aircraft turnaround process ensuring that is carried out safely and in accordance with the Turnaround Plan; control and support of personnel to ensure that they can carry out their duties safely and effectively; ensures aircraft arrival and departure visual checklists are completed; reporting of all incidents and accidents that occur during the turnaround which includes the completion of any carrier required paperwork; monitor all personnel involved in the turnaround to enforce compliance with safety procedures and the Turnaround Plan; confirms with the Supervisor of Aircraft Loading that loading is completed and the aircraft holds have been checked, and are empty of anything that cannot be accounted for.
Reports applicable information to the flight Captain; allocates delay reason codes as applicable; manages disruptions to the Turnaround Plan. May complete CLC planning and coordinate with applicable entities; completion of applicable Movement of Aircraft reports, and completion of all flight reports for the relative flight. Comply with WFS site security plan for assigned warehouse. Remain cognizant of WFS staff, security contractors, and visitors’ activities and report security breaches, suspicious occurrences, or non-compliance with the site security plan to managers or via the WFS whistleblower program.
Rate of Pay : $15.00 per hour
Responsibilities
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret WFS Employee Handbook, WFS Supervisors Manual,applicable union contract, general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations, airline policy and procedures manuals.
