Job Summary
The Ramp Services Department Manager coordinates airport ramp service operations, ensuring compliance with company standards and contractual agreements, including federal guidelines for international cargo. Responsibilities include maintaining inventory integrity, managing staging and distribution, assisting with monthly billing, meeting budget and staffing requirements, communicating with customers, preparing monthly reports, and identifying new business opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily ramp operations, ensuring safety, efficiency, and adherence to company protocols.
- Manage staffing schedules, performance, and training for the ramp services team.
- Implement and monitor compliance with safety regulations, TSA protocols, and operational standards.
- Maintain and manage ground support equipment (GSE) for proper functioning and preventive maintenance.
- Collaborate with internal departments and airport stakeholders to ensure seamless operations.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and service quality.
- Monitor and control the department budget, including labor and equipment costs.
- Investigate and resolve incidents, delays, or other operational disruptions.
