We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Apartment & House Turn Technician to join our team.
Job Summary: The Apartment & House Turn Technician is responsible for efficiently preparing apartments and houses for new tenants by performing a variety of maintenance tasks. This includes cleaning, repairing, and ensuring all systems and fixtures are in excellent working order. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, reliable, and able to complete tasks on time while ensuring the highest quality of work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general maintenance and repair tasks for apartments and houses including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
- Clean and prepare vacant units for new tenants, including deep cleaning, painting, and appliance inspection and installation.
- Address and repair maintenance issues such as broken fixtures, leaky faucets, damaged walls, flooring, and other necessary repairs.
- Work closely with the property management team to complete turnovers in a timely and efficient manner.
- Assist in moving and installing appliances and other furniture as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and maintenance standards and regulations.
- Communicate effectively with management, residents, and team members to ensure smooth operations.
- Keep work areas organized and adhere to company policies for safety, cleanliness, and professionalism.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition.
- Assist with routine maintenance and landscaping tasks, as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (technical certification or trade school completion is a plus).
- Previous experience in apartment turnover, home repairs, or property maintenance is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of basic maintenance practices, including plumbing, electrical, painting, and carpentry.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work and lift heavy objects.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with team members and management.
- Ability to pass background and drug screening.
