What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field/Facility Assistant position at WG Sports Center?
We are looking for a reliable and organized Sports Event Assistant to help facilitate the smooth operation of pick-up games and other related activities. This role involves distributing equipment, organizing teams, setting up and maintaining playing areas, and assisting with general event logistics, including possible cafeteria duties.
Responsibilities:
- Distribute pinnies (jerseys) and assign teams for pick-up games.
* Assist in setting up and moving goal nets as needed.
- Hand out and collect balls and other sports equipment.
- Ensure proper organization and storage of equipment after use.
- Provide support in the cafeteria or other event areas as required.
- Help maintain a clean and safe environment for participants.
- Communicate with players and staff to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience.
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Basic knowledge of sports and game organization.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions.
- Physical ability to move equipment and set up playing areas.
