WGI (Westfield Gage Incorporated) is a high precision Manufacturing and Overhaul & Repair machine shop located in Southwick, Massachusetts. They specialize in repairs for gas turbine engines, particularly V2500, PW2000, and PW4000. WGI is OEM source approved for V2500 components.
This is a full-time on-site role for a TIG Welder at WGI Inc. located in Southwick, MA. The TIG Welder will be responsible for welding and fabricating metal parts based on project requirements. The role will involve reading and interpreting blueprints, operating welding equipment, and conducting quality inspections on finished products.
- Proficiency in TIG Welding and metal fabrication
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Experience in welding stainless steel and aluminum
- Knowledge of welding safety practices
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Capability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience in a manufacturing or machine shop environment is a plus
- Certification in TIG Welding is preferred
