Invoice Processing
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Review, code, and enter vendor invoices in Microsoft Business Central (BC), ensuring correct GL account and cost center allocations.
- Match invoices to purchase orders and resolve discrepancies.
- Obtain necessary approvals before processing invoices.
- Process payments through vendor portals, ACH, and wire transfers.
- Assist in preparing payment run proposals and ensuring timely payments.
- Maintain accurate vendor payment records and compliance with company policies.
- Perform AP account reconciliations as needed.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve outstanding balances.
- Assist in month-end close by providing AP reports and support.
- Maintain vendor records, ensuring accurate W-9s and tax documents.
- Address vendor inquiries and resolve payment issues efficiently.
- Assist in the year-end 1099 reporting process.
- Utilize Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) to analyze and organize AP data.
- Identify and implement efficiencies in AP workflows.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies.
- Support audits by providing necessary AP documentation.
- Experience: 2 years in Accounts Payable or a similar role.
- Systems: Proficiency in Microsoft Business Central (BC) is required.
- Technical Skills: Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables), ability to work with vendor portals.
- Soft Skills: Detail-oriented, strong problem-solving abilities, ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
