What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Service Technician position at WGNSTAR?
Schedule: M- F, 8:00AM - 5:00PM
Pay Rate: $24 hourly, DOE
Location: Boise, ID
Travel: Must be available for domestic travel for 4-6 weeks within the first 9 months of employment.
Position Type: Full-Time

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work with Chemical distribution equipment on site and/or on the manufacturing floor.
- Handle hazardous chemicals and learn the proper PPE and safety procedures for each site.
- Ability to be trained in plumbing, welding, electrical, instrumentation, and controls wiring on facilities chemical equipment.
- Undergo on-the-job training in the manufacturing facility and then travel to the project site for equipment installation and start-up.
- Associate's degree, military equivalent, or relative work experience.
- Strong mechanical and electrical skills/understanding.
- Strong communication soft skills for reporting and updating team members.
- Able to work within a team group and also peform individual tasks once trained with little supervision.
May be required to walk up to 5 miles per day, able to be on feet for 8-10 hrs at a time, ability to bend, twist, push/pull, crouch, kneel in confined spaces, work at heights, on a ladder, and lift up to 50 pounds. The physical demands described above are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
