WGNSTAR is currently recruiting a Operations Manager in Chandler, AZ The ideal candidate will have 2 years’ recent experience in a similar management role within Semiconductor Manufacturing or other Hi-tech related industries. The candidate will also have technical working knowledge of how a facility and manufacturing business operates within a hi-tech industry. Previous management experience is a must.
Candidates must demonstrate experience in operational performance management with an in-depth knowledge of customer manufacturing requirements, equipment, protocols and KPI’s.
Schedule: Monday - Friday
Location: Chandler, AZ
The principal duties and responsibilities will be:
- Responsible for contributing to site management initiatives and ensuring that the expertise and resources of the organization are available to support any agreed initiatives.
- Pointof contact for customer, responsible for coordinating all account activity and support. Responsible for the overall leadership & management of operations on-site.
- Implement policies & procedures
- Report on performance KPI’s and metrics to Customer & WGNSTAR.
- Technical mentoring to Operations teams
- Drive high standards to achieve quality, safety and operational excellence.
- Coordinate and participate in site meetings between the business teams and customer.
- Actively seek out and pursue business development opportunities with new and existing customers.
- Represent WGNSTAR planning, operational & business development meetings.
- Management, supervision, coordination and monitoring of employee and team performance.
- Communicate strongly and effectively with all points of contact.
- Manage the finance of operations and control cost.
- Ensure the Health and Safety of staff/contractors working under WGNSTAR direction is of the highest standard.
- Challenge existing company standards to ensure best in class.
- Plan and take action to protect Company & Customer assets, reputation and ensure business continuity.
- Fluency in English - Spoken & Written
- Minimum of 2years’ experience in a management role.
- Customer friendly, presentable, and personable as a Company Representative
- Previous experience in a similar environment
- IT proficient with ability to write clear, coherent, concise and professional e-mails/letters/presentations
- Customer/market knowledge
