We are currently seeking an experienced commercial construction Project Manager (PM.) The PM coordinates all preconstruction and construction activities throughout the duration of the project and is the main point of contact between Bass, the Owner, engineers and architects.
The selected candidate will be responsible for carrying out the following duties :
- Partnering with estimating department throughout bidding process and handoff of awarded projects
- Review subcontract bids for completeness, revise as necessary and negotiation best possible contract with subcontractors and material suppliers
- Establish and maintain a working relationship with the customer, based on a commitment to industry leading customer service that results in complete customer satisfaction and future project opportunities.
- Develop and maintain a project schedule consistent with contractual requirements. Creating and maintaining a schedule pace that will ensure timely completion.
- Maintain project budget
- Conduct periodic job meetings during construction with appropriate parties
- Partner with Superintendent, assist with job specific procedures and adjust progress as necessary to insure timely completion of project
- Ensure that both Bass and customer’s objectives are being met throughout the project
- Travel as necessary for face time with customer, superintendent and ensure quality standards are being met
- Ensure a strong project closure by proactively determining and executing customers’ requirements for “turn over.”
