Job Summary:
We are seeking a Lead Machine Operator to join our team. As a Lead Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining our manufacturing equipment.
The Lead will assist in developing PM handbooks and training new machine operators on those protocols.
The Lead is to be responsible for all work orders in the department to be completed.
The Lead will oversee that all machine operators are keeping clean maintenance practices of machines and workspace.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a manufacturing environment, mechanical knowledge, and be proficient in maintaining equipment.
Duties:
- Quick troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Setting up Machines for production.
- Good leadership and training skills.
- Great time management.
- Using machine equipment to complete tasks.
- Performing routine inspections of manufacturing equipment.
- Evaluating the efficiency of each unit regularly, identifying improvements as needed.
- Excellent mechanical skills, including comfort with using tools to make simple repairs.
- Keen attention to detail to identify maintenance, product or operations issues.
- Ability to stand, sit or be in other physically demanding positions for long periods of time.
Skills:
Strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to use hand tools.
Experience working in a manufacturing facility with a strong understanding of mechanical systems and processes.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production goals and deadlines.
