Security Guard

Whalen Security LLC as opportunities for Security officers. These officers monitor facility access and conduct mobile patrols of the client property. We are seeking reliable individuals with strong customer service skills.

• Sunday 7AM-3PM
• Monday 4PM-11PM
• Wednesday and Thursday 11PM-7AM.
• Total 31 hours a week.
• STARTING pay is $17 after $2hr weekly bonus. You are eligible for a .50 raise at 3 months, 6 months and again at 1 year of service. (See question #7 for information on the bonus and feel free to ask any questions)

MINIMUM HIRING STANDARDS:

Be at least 18 years of age.

Be able to work both 3rd shift.

Have a reliable means of communication (i.e., cell phone).

Have a reliable means of transportation.

Have the legal right to work in the United States.

Have the ability to speak, read, and write English.

Have a High School Diploma or GED.

Have valid Driver's License and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
• Respond to incidents and conflicts, utilizing conflict management skills to de-escalate situations.
• Operate surveillance equipment, including CCTV, to detect and prevent unauthorized activities.
• Provide first aid and CPR when necessary, ensuring the well-being of individuals on-site.
• Maintain accurate records of daily activities and incidents.
• Assist customers and staff with inquiries, demonstrating excellent customer service skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Evening shift
• Holidays
• Night shift
• Overnight shift
• Weekends as needed

• The base pay for this position is $15 hr with a $2hr bonus which is based on the attendance policy. With the bonus you will make $17 hr. You are eligible for a .50 raise at 3 months, 6 months and again at 1 year of service. This will all be explained to you during your interview and you will receive the policy.
