General Description
The Coordinator of Vocational Support Services serves as grant coordinator for the Carl D. Perkins formula grant for Wharton County Junior College (WCJC); is responsible for delivery of support services for Perkins special population vocational students, including economically disadvantaged, single parents, students enrolled in non-traditional fields, limited English proficiency, disabled, and others as identified in the grant.
Requirements
This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Sociology, Education or related field, or be a qualified teacher or counselor. This position requires three years' experience in teaching, advising, counseling, casework, or related activity. A criminal background check required.
