General Description
Office location will be at one of the following WCJC campuses (Wharton, Richmond, or Sugar Land) and will be determined prior to the beginning of the semester hire date. Teaching location and hours are subject to change during employment with WCJC to meet department / division needs to ensure student success. Pay for this position is based on a 9 month contract working fall and spring semesters. (Masters : $48,550 - $53,550; Doctorate : $55,050-60,050) Start date for this position is August 2025.
The permanent responsibility of a faculty member is to provide the most effective instruction possible in his / her discipline. Supervision is received from appropriate supervisor. The faculty member works to insure that his / her instruction is meeting the educational needs of students.
Requirements
This position requires a master's degree (in Biology or other discipline) and a minimum of 18 graduate hours in biology from a regionally accredited institution. A criminal background check is also required.
