Do You Love Texas High School Sports? The Wharton County Leader-Journal has an immediate opening for a sports reporter. Our candidate will be one who loves sports at all levels. A college degree in journalism or communications preferred, or experience in the field. Sports coverage for the Wharton County Leader-Journal includes photography and page design/layout in addition to writing various types of copy, covering the five school districts and junior college in Wharton County. Salary depends on experience. Health insurance and vacation available.
