Assistant Superintendent - Commercial Construction

Position Overview: Wharton-Smith, Inc is currently seeking an experienced Assistant Project Superintendent for the Pensacola, FL area. In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for the field supervision and coordination of specific tasks. Primary Responsibilities Maintain quality Field Supervision Coordination of specific tasks Assist in scheduling Quality control Safety coordination & enforcement Direct supervision of labor Manpower and equipment resource requirement scheduling Coordination of permit and regulatory inspections Qualifications: High School diploma Five (5) years construction-related experience Good communication and people skills Computer proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel Knowledge of Project Management Software (PMIS)  Valid Driver License and ability to commute to job sites Our recruiting process is centralized and is handled by our HR Department.
