We are seeking a passionate and skilled Pet Groomer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a love for animals and experience in grooming various breeds of dogs. As a Pet Groomer, you will be responsible for providing high-quality grooming services while ensuring the comfort and safety of the pets in your care. Your expertise in animal handling and grooming techniques will contribute to the overall well-being of our furry clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and nail clipping for dogs.
• Assess the condition of pets' coats and skin, identifying any issues that may require veterinary attention.
• Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized as needed.
• Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their pets' grooming needs and any observed health concerns.
• Handle pets with care, employing proper animal restraint techniques to ensure safety during grooming sessions.
• Assist with heavy lifting when necessary, particularly for larger breeds or during the bathing process.
• Stay updated on grooming trends, techniques, and best practices to provide exceptional service.

Requirements

• Previous experience in pet grooming is required. Preferred candidate will have 5 years experience.
• Familiarity with animal handling techniques, including restraint methods for various species.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during grooming sessions.
• Knowledge of pet care practices and an understanding of different breeds' specific grooming needs.
• Strong communication skills to interact positively with pet owners and team members.
• A genuine love for animals and commitment to their well-being.
