What are the responsibilities and job description for the Delivery Driver position at What Cheer Fruit & Produce?
We are hiring a van driver to complete daytime home deliveries with between 30 and 65 stops. We are especially hiring drivers with Wednesday and Thursday availability. Job can be part time or full time. Wednesday and Thursday routes begin and end in Woburn. Most deliveries are within 30 miles of Boston. Vans are well-maintained Ford Transits and Transit Connects, work is relatively low-stress, grateful people on pickup and delivery.
COMPANY:
What Cheer Fruit & Produce delivers produce grown by small organic farms in New England to homes in Greater Boston and NYC.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Providing amazing customer service
- delivering produce to customers within set timelines
- loading and unloading a van
- communicating with farms and food buyers
- communicating with other drivers
- maintaining a clean vehicle
- organizing paperwork received along route
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- clean driving record
- experience working on a farm or driving a delivery van
- ability to juggle multiple moving pieces
