- Accountable and responsible for ongoing project updates and communication between the functional Directors/Managers, Project Managers and special project teams.
- Monitors project scope, and supports Project Manager regarding scheduling, budgeting and reporting deviations in order to stay on project course.
- Prepares and presents at restaurant production team meetings and prepares Support System, Flying W, A Frame, BIC, and Strategy Council meetings.
- Anticipates project delays and recommends solutions to the Project Manager to adjust expectations, schedules and resources to stay on course.
- Manages and maintains the RPS Quarterly Planning timeline which identifies the meeting execution strategy the team works against and the timing of deliverables.
- Manages SRM ticket process for requests and completion of items
- Prepares Support System, Flying W, A Frame, BIC, and Strategy Council meetings artifacts for department.
- Maintains processes and documents change requests. Documents appropriate updates in Project Server (Workbook and RIDA). Prepares materials for status updates and briefings.
- Monitors business integration and transition efforts to RTB/Warranty.
- Coordinates preparation of deliverable materials with the Restaurant Production Manager and Director and Project Managers.
- Closely coordinates and controls project change requests with functional users.
- Manages recorded Project RIDA’s for the PM’s to ensure completion by the assigned family member
- Actively engages with all parties to ensure quality of data, communications and reports
- Reviews project budgets for accuracy and works issues with Finance and Project Manager that are identified that need to be resolved
- Responsible for due diligence analysis for vendor selection and for controlling the integrity of invoice and actual work performed.
- Prepares and coordinates project budget reporting.
- Collaborates with Project Managers and Director within the Restaurant Production Project Portfolio to ensure best use of resources.
- Communicates risks, issues or opportunities that cannot be resolved or acted upon at the Project level.
- Assumes additional responsibilities as assigned.
- Associates degree required or equivalent work experience
- 0-6 months experience preferably in restaurant industry
- Proficiency in MS Office Word, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Project Server, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint, and JD Edwards
- Proficiency in Google Sketch up and Solid Works preferred
- Familiarity with Restaurant Operating, Back of House, and Point of Sales systems desired
- Familiarity with Project Management Institute standards preferred.
- Project Management Certification preferred
- Must be able to work the normal business hours as set by management for the team that Family Member supports
- Must be able to report to work timely and work both the times of day and total hours per week required as set by management
- Must be able to work overtime occasionally when requested and approved by management
- Some travel may be required
