Whatcom County is currently recruiting for two Domestic Relations Coordinators in the Prosecuting Attorney's Office.
The Domestic Relations Coordinator position works as an integral part of the Domestic Relations division focusing on case management support and substantive work of a paralegal nature involving research, analysis, investigation, interviewing, document and court preparation. This position balances team and individual responsibilities with limited supervision and within established guidelines, while complying with legal standards and requirements.

Hours of work: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm Monday - Friday
Full Job Description: Domestic Relations Coordinator
Salary Range: MCBA- Range 130.0Hiring rate depends on qualifications. This position receives annual pay increases to the next step in the associated salary range (apx. 3.8%) subject to satisfactory performance, in addition to any negotiated Cost of Living Adjustments (COLA).
Qualifications
Requires an Associate's degree, preferably in Paralegal Studies AND 4 years of progressively responsible legal assistant experience in domestic relations/family law.
Must have a background check that meets County criteria.
Must pass job-related tests.
Must become a Notary Public and maintain throughout employment.
