Dental Lab Tech Assistant
Full Time Position
Whatcom Dental Lab in Ferndale, WA is looking to add to our team. Our lab creates prosthetic crowns and bridges for dentists in Whatcom County, as well as shipping all over the country. We are looking for the right candidate who will be assisting in daily duties to maintain the efficient workflow in the lab.
Job description:
CAD assistance with 3Shape software: digital case entry, scanning in 3D cases
Assist with custom shade appointments: prep room, assist as needed
Pick up and delivery driving, as needed
Customer Service - answering phones
Provide backup for Shipping and Handling department and model technician
This position is Monday - Thursday, 6:30am to 4:30pm* - $18/hr. starting, DOE
Plus benefits (medical benefit, 401k matching, paid time off)
*Hours may vary as workload fluctuates
These are requirements for the position:
-Ability to work on the 2nd floor with no elevator
-Must have valid Driver’s license with clean driving record
-Punctual/On-Time
-Organized and detail oriented
-Able to work in high-energy environment, keep up with a fast-paced work atmosphere
-Interpersonal skills - must be able to work well with a small team
Training will be provided, however these are qualifications of an ideal candidate:
- Interest in work in the dental field and moving up within our dental lab
- Excellent communication skills, in person, over the phone, and via email
- Attention to cleanliness and ability to keep workstations clean
- Problem Solver, good multitasker, reliable with good work ethic
