We are currently looking for a motivated, reliable and independent person to work in the Whatcom County Area. We pride ourselves on attention to detail and the ability of our valued cleaners. The ideal candidate will be able to perform all the duties required and be an outstanding representative of Whatcom Janitorial.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a night shift position consisting of Full-time hours - non-exempt.

Shift: Monday - Friday 35-40 hrs. per week shift starts at 6:00 pm end time varies.

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Janitorial Lead, you are in charge of supporting the night shift/ Weekend cleaners on their day to day operations as well as ensuring client satisfaction.

Duties consist of:

Inspections

• Inspecting in a timely manner taking pictures
• Scheduling Inspections
• Consistent follow up with cleaners to ensure company standards are met.

Administrative Work

• Scheduling Inspections
• Creating Inspection Forms
• Proper filing of Inspections on drive/ personal files
• Scheduling/Covering Shifts – only when night/ weekend shift calls out
• Restocking Employee Stock Room
• Keeping Stock Room Tidy
• Laundry – Rags, Mops, etc.

Training

• Account cleaning training
• Proper supplies usage training
• Restocking supplies employee training
• Job detail sheets and timesheet training
• Company Vehicle Usage Training

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Knowledge
Some knowledge of standard cleaning methods, equipment, and supplies used in office and commercial cleaning.
Some knowledge of janitorial safety procedures & compliance of all regulations regarding chemical storage and handling or willingness to learn!

Independence. Willingness to complete tasks and go the extra mile without being directed.

Ability to influence employees in a team effort management style.
Efficiency and time management
Proficient computer and Microsoft office programs knowledge (word, excel, outlook) - required.

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or equivalent w/ 1 year experience working in the janitorial/maintenance field in a management/supervisory role - Preferred but not required.

Licenses & Requirements
Valid Driver’s License
Valid Auto Insurance – no more than 2 motor vehicle violations in the past 3 years
Personal Vehicle

Work Environment
70% Field work
30% Office

Physical Demands
Require 10% travel located in the Whatcom County area
Walking, standing, bending over, kneeling, sitting for extended periods in-office setting & field.
Work in both office and commercial environments (PPE use required in some locations).
Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
