Role
Customer Experience engineering builds products, tools and pipelines to make Whatnot more helpful, our support teams more efficient, and our buyers and sellers happy and satisfied. This frontend role will be focused on building the fundamental Seller, Order and Support experiences for all buyers and sellers.
- You'll build products which power core buyer and seller experiences at Whatnot.
- You'll implement helpful customer order and shipment experiences, LLM-based chat functionalities, classification and automation flows, and tools to enhance Whatnot's usability for our vast customer base.
- Have direct influence over core business metrics with the goal of increasing retention, CSAT and DSAT scores as our product continues to scale.
- Build from scratch reliable core data flows ensuring world-class user experience across the entire product landscape.
Team members in this role are required to be within commuting distance of our San Francisco, Los Angeles, New York City or Seattle hub.

158,000 / year to $205,000 / year benefits equity
The salary range may be inclusive of several levels that would be applicable to the position. Final salary will be based on a number of factors including, level, relevant prior experience, skills, and expertise. This range is only inclusive of base salary, not benefits (more details below) or equity.
