Key Responsibilities of a Shop Manager :
Supervise and manage all Shop Operations :
Oversee daily shop activities and ensure smooth operations.
Schedule and assign tasks to technicians and staff.
Staff Supervisor
Recruit, train, and supervise shop personnel.
Excellent Customer Service
Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through quality service.
Inventory and Supplies :
Manage inventory of parts and tools.
Order supplies and equipment as needed.
Safety and Compliance :
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Budget and Financial Management :
Monitor shop expenses and manage the budget.
Prepare financial reports and track performance metrics.
Vehicle Maintenance and Repair :
Oversee the maintenance and repair work on vehicles.

Qualifications of a Shop Manager :
EXPERIENCE WITH FLEETIO IS A PLUS!
Experience : Previous experience in a transportation or automotive repair shop, with supervisory experience preferred.
Skills : Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Education : High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications or training in automotive repair is a plus.
Knowledge : Understanding of vehicle maintenance, repair procedures, and shop management.
