As part of the accounting team, the cashier position will assist drivers, process payments and vouchers and sort/file daily receipts for billing.

Job Responsibilities and Duties of a Transportation Cashier:
- Assist drivers with balance questions
- Process daily driver receipts and vouchers
- Balance daily entries
- Enter & edit vouchers
- Update driver information as requested in software
- Sort and prepare vouchers for billing by accounting team.
- Other duties as required.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, and state and federal regulatory bodies
Qualifications and Skills of a Transportation Cashier:
- High School diploma
- Detail oriented with good organizational skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in high volume environment to meet established deadlines.
- Ability to gain knowledge of software system
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
