Wheated, a New York pizza and cocktail place has opened in the Highlands and we are hiring! This is your opportunity to join us at the start of this exciting new venture.
We are seeking a skilled kitchen expediter/food runner to join our team.
Evening shifts available Wednesday thru Sunday - must be willing to work at least one/two weekend nights.
- Positions require someone who is extremely reliable, punctual, and dedicated.
- Being detail oriented is important
- We hire on the books, no exceptions
Prior FOH restaurant experience is a plus, great attitude is a must. Fast thinking, able to prioritize several tasks at once is important.
responsibilities:
- cut and finish pizza topping
- efficiently and accurately delivery food to customers
- work in support of servers, delivery food, water, glassware, clearing and resetting tables etc
- help setup and break down dining areas
- maintain cleanliness of work area and dining area
Skills:
- Working efficiently alone and as a team member
- Great sense of personal pride in providing prompt, accurate and friendly service
- Knowledge of food safety practices
- Experience in a restaurant setting
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: Up to $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 12 per week
