What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dishwasher position at WheatFields Bakery Cafe?
Job Summary
The Wheatfields kitchen is a fast-paced but friendly working environment and we are looking for a dedicated and efficient dishwasher to join our team. Work is primarily solo, so must be comfortable working alone. The disher is responsible for washing all dishes in the building in a timely manner that also adheres to food safety guidelines. That includes scrubbing, soaking, rinsing, and washing by hand or in the machine. The disher is not responsible for bussing, this is a fully back-of-house position. Closing shifts include equipment cleaning, sweeping, mopping, and trash duties.
The shifts available are Sunday and Monday opening (7am to 3pm), and Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday closing (2pm to about 6pm).
No experience is required, we will train you! Previous experience or knowledge of food safety standards is a plus.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Willingness to help others and contribute positively to the kitchen team.
- Must be able to stand for long periods and lift heavy items as necessary.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 30 per week
