JOB TITLE: PARA/EDUCATOR WHEATLAND CHARTER ACADEMY
SUPERVISOR: SCHOOL PRINCIPAL
DESCRIPTION OF BASIC FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
To assist a certificated teacher(s) in the instruction, supervision, and training of individual or groups of students by performing a variety of instructional support activities and to perform a variety of related duties in the maintenance of an effective learning environment. Employees in this classification receive close supervision within a well-defined framework of policies and procedures. This job class provides a variety of responsible instructional and clerical support activities to enhance the educational environment within assigned classroom and requires a high degree of positive contact with both students and certificated staff. Graduation from High School and able to provide proof of transcript or a diploma, new employees pass proficiency exam or have an A.A. degree or higher.
Salary : $18 - $25
