About the Role
As a Warehouse Associate at Zekelman Industries, [insert location], you will play a key role in supporting our warehouse operations by ensuring the accurate picking, packing, and loading of steel tube and pipe. Pay: $22.50/hr Incentive
- Champions and enforces safe work practices in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Prepares materials, products, and equipment for distribution and shipment.
- Processes and fulfills orders from customers and internal teams.
- Picks, packs, and stages orders, verifying accuracy using scanning tools.
- Loads shipments onto flatbed trucks or LTL carriers.
- Receives, inspects, and processes incoming materials, reporting any damages.
- Replenishes warehouse stock and rotates inventory using a reach truck or forklift.
- Operates forklifts, order pickers, reach trucks, and walkie rider pallet jacks to move materials efficiently.
- Standardizes and optimizes shipping and receiving procedures for accuracy and efficiency.
- Performs additional duties as assigned.
- Regular, full-time onsite attendance is required.
- Minimum of 2 years of warehouse experience, preferably in steel or tubing, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
- Basic math skills – Ability to perform accurate order processing.
- Strong communication skills – Collaborates effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Problem-solving ability – Able to address warehouse challenges and find efficient solutions.
- High attention to detail – Ensures order accuracy and adherence to quality standards.
- Additional Qualifications – Experience operating forklifts, order pickers, reach trucks, and walkie rider pallet jacks is a plus.
- Ability to safely lift and move materials as needed.
- Ability to operate various warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks.

Below is the expected base salary range for this position. This is a good-faith estimate, and offers will be determined based on experience, education, skill set, and interview performance.
Base Salary Range: $22.50 Hourly Incentive
