Wheatland Tube, a division of Zekelman Industries, is seeking an Electrician for our facility located in Wheatland, PA
- Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, this bargaining unit position is responsible for performing electrical maintenance in all areas of the Plant.This position will work 8 hour rotating shifts.RESPONSIBILITIES : Candidates must be willing to work rotating 8 hour shifts.Perform electrical maintenance in all areas of the Plant including industrial electrical control systems, power systems, AC and DC electronic speed control drives, and crane repairTrouble shooting of Programmable Logic Controls, motors, drives and relaysBending and installing conduit and wiring for equipment installationsPerform Preventive & Predictive maintenance on electrical equipmentAdhere to safe work practices in accordance with OSHA and Company safty policies & procedures such as LOTO & Arc FlashPrepare various reportsOther duties as assigned by ManagementQUALIFICATIONS : High school diploma or equivalentPrior manufacturing experience preferredExcellent written and oral communication skills, ability to work independently, and / or in a team environmentDetail orientated, able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and available to work rotating shifts including weekend and OTDisplay a positive attitude towards your work and maintain positive working relationship with othersMechanical aptitude necessary for fulfillment of job requirementsMust be able to interface with computers and efficient at problem solvingAbility to pass hair follicle drug / physical / background checkLegally authorized to work in the USRegular, full-time, predictable onsite attendance per the posted schedule is an essential function of this roleLead and promote health and safety work practices as required by regulatory agencies and company policyBenefits include : - - - Healthcare 95 / 5 plan, Flat rate $25 per pay - Dental Company Paid - Vision- Company Paid - 401k Matching - Life Insurance - Advancement Opportunities - Company Paid Training
