GENERAL PURPOSE
This position is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards for dishes, glassware, tableware, cooking utensils, etc., using machine and manual cleaning methods. This position also ensures the dishwashing area is maintained as a clean, safe and sanitary facility.
REQUIRED EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
- Must be able to read labels on chemicals; understand verbal and written directions in English; and have good listening skills.
- Must have or obtain upon hire : food handlers certification.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Muse be able to : continuously remain in a stationary upright position and grasp items with good eye / hand coordination; frequently move about the kitchen; occasionally position one's self to reach items below knees and above shoulders and move items such as plates / pans, water buckets, hotbox on wheels, bags of vegetables, etc. weighing up to 50 lbs. and over 50 lbs. with assistance.
SALARY
Starting at 17.00 per hour.
HOURS
25-28 hours per week (hours vary) days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
SALARY RANGE
Minimum - Midpoint - Maximum
15.00 - $18.75 - $22.50
