What are the responsibilities and job description for the Retail Sales Associate position at Wheel City Auto?

Are you a "people person" that loves to interact with customers? If so, we have a unique opportunity for a new teammate at Wheel City Auto, celebrating 31 years in business! No automotive experience needed. This position would own the entire financing process from beginning to end with our customers. We are a no haggle price dealership and take great pride in our huge percentage of repeat and referral business. No late nights, no Sundays and a 5 day work week. No experience necessary in the auto business but retail sales experience is required. Must have valid drivers license. Base salary plus monthly bonus and full benefits!
Daily Tasks:
- Receive inbound calls
- Helping customers that come into the showroom obtain financing
- Make outbound calls on leads
- Set appointments to show customers what's available to them
- Interact with finance to work on approvals for customer applications
- Finish selling process and prepare vehicle for customer
What we need you to bring:
- Desire to help customers
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrate the ability to listen and learn while retaining information
- Task orientated, detail driven, and self-motivated
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Ability to think quickly and identify and resolve customer questions or concerns
- Positive, upbeat attitude
Some experience in retail sales is required (cell phone store, hospitality, clothing store, parts store etc...). Base salary plus great bonus opportunity.
