What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bike and Kayak Rental Attendant position at Wheel Fun Rentals?
Wheel Fun Rentals, A national bicycle and boat rental company is looking for individuals for the following position at our Marine Park location:
***Ideally, we would love if you have a great depth of knowledge and love of the Marine Park area (not a requirement), a passion for the outdoors, experience with water sports (specifically kayaking & paddle boarding), an exceptional work ethic and the ability to manage a group of people while still creating a fun, yet safe, environment.
Bike and Kayak Rental Attendant:
Wheel Fun Rentals is looking for people that want to work at our locations that can meet our standards of customer service, cleanliness, and professionalism. If you’re looking to keep busy at a job by the beach or in a park and work for a great company please apply via emailed resume/work history.
*Applicants that have a personal vehicle to be able to work both sites is preferred*
Rental Staff - The rental staff is responsible for ensuring that ALL of our various bicycles, boats, and specialty products are kept 100% safe and operational at all times and that customers receive EXCELLENT service in accordance with all company guidelines.
All Applicants must:
*Have great customer service and communication skills and a positive, outgoing personality.
*Not be afraid of hard work, getting their hands dirty, or keeping busy – Keeping bikes clean and running is a big part of the job!
*Be mechanically inclined and comfortable with various types of specialty bike tools as well as other types of power and hand tools (bike/boat mechanic experience or other applicable mechanical experience a plus!)
*Be honest, reliable, responsible individuals with a strong work ethic.
*Be available weekdays and weekends between the hours of 8AM & 9PM
*Be able to lift 50lbs and be able to do physical work
*Be able to stay productive during down times and when working alone.
*Have reliable transportation.
*Be able to follow instructions and comply with ALL company standards
