Salary : $16.50-$17.50
Non-emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) company that has been proudly serving many counties in Northern California for over 40 years. Currently we have offices in Sacramento, San Leandro / Oakland, San Mateo, Santa Rosa / Solano and Tracy.
Our company is looking for full-time and part-time drivers to transport clients to and from medical appointments and other engagements. Many of our clients are disabled and may need to be transported by wheelchair or gurney.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Transport patients to various locations in our medical transport vehicles in a safe efficient and timely manner.
- Observe and follow all traffic rules and regulations.
- Inspect vehicles before shift by checking fuel, oil, water, tires, lights, brakes and steering to ensure vehicle can be operated safely. Notify supervisor of mechanical defects or needed repairs.
- Report and document all accidents, vehicle damage, client incidents and mechanical failures.
- Complete trip documentation (mainly via phone applications).
- Keep assigned vehicle clean and fueled.
- Wheelchair and Gurney lift operation
- Communicate with Dispatch.
- Follow safety and COVID protocols
- Instruct clients on safe riding rules and regulations
QUALIFICATIONS
Salary : $17 - $18
