For over 50 years Wheelchair Transport Service has been providing top of the line customer service and non-medical transportation throughout the Tampa Bay area. We are the first, the oldest and the best wheelchair transportation service in Pinellas, Hillsborough and Pasco, Hernando, Manatee and Polk counties. We proudly serve the veterans at the James A. Haley VA and Bay Pines VA.
This position is responsible for the vehicle prep and regular automotive maintenance of all company owned vehicles and facility maintenance.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Prompt and regular attendance at work
- Perform all activities required by company preventative maintenance program
- Perform diagnostics and some repairs on all company owned gas vehicles (oil changes, brakes, etc.)
- Ensure proper safe-guarding of tools, equipment, parts, and supplies.
- Prep vehicles each morning that are scheduled to go into service that day.
- Prepare or complete all work orders and failure reports.
- General maintenance around the facility grounds
- Maintain a clean and safe workplace.
- Perform other duties as required.
