Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Construction Manager to oversee and coordinate construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, excellent time management skills, and a comprehensive understanding of construction processes. This role requires effective communication with various stakeholders, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in accordance with all safety regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead project coordination efforts, ensuring all aspects of the construction process are managed effectively.
  • Utilize project management software such as ProCore and HeavyBid for tracking project progress and budgeting.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera, ensuring timely completion of milestones.
  • Review and interpret schematics to ensure compliance with design specifications.
  • Manage contracts with subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring adherence to terms and conditions.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address any issues, and ensure safety standards are met.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other professionals to facilitate smooth project execution.
  • Prepare reports on project status for stakeholders, highlighting any potential risks or delays.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Construction Manager or in a similar role within the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of project management principles and construction processes.
  • Proficiency in project scheduling tools such as Primavera and experience with contract management.
  • Familiarity with construction software including ProCore and HeavyBid is preferred.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail in reviewing schematics and contracts.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also managing individual responsibilities.
  • Exceptional communication skills for liaising with clients, contractors, and team members.

Pay: $97,305.00 - $103,215.00 per year
