Description
Product Support Supervisor oversees and coordinates the daily operations of their team, ensuring the efficient and high-quality repairs are made on time and on budget. This role involves dispatching, and leading a team of technicians, managing service workflows, and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective Customer Service, technical expertise, and adherence to safety and quality standards.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Building / Developing / Maintaining a top-notch team, performance management of employees, service Scheduling, managing employee schedules, facilitate communications between customers and employees with a focus on world class customer service.
- Positive open-minded attitude willing to think outside of the box and present new ideas to achieve the product support objectives.
- Understands the urgency of our industries and the importance of equipment availability to our customers.
- Work closely with all product support management to develop solutions to any customer concerns / problems in a timely manner.
- Oversee personnel schedules to make sure all-time commitments to customers are covered, while watching expenses closely.
- Interact with fellow co-workers, having the desire and ability to develop people.
- Understand problem ownership. When given a problem will take ownership of it and determine a solution for the customer.
- Travel between southern branches.
- Answer customer calls and dispatch Field Service Technicians.
- Control work orders from open to close.
- Assist in tracking truck and personal certifications.
- Conduct and complete performance appraisals.
- Perform other duties as needed.
