Director of Nursing – Cath Lab
Employment Type : Direct Hire
Location : El Paso, Texas
Hours / Shift : Monday – Friday, Days (normal business hours).
On-Call Requirements : Yes.
Pay Range : $96,000 – $147,000 / year (open to relocation candidates, higher pay considered based on experience).
Direct Oversight : 15-20 FTEs, including 2-3 EKG Techs, Echo Techs, and a Charge Analyst.
Summary :
This role provides leadership and support to the senior executive position (CNO) responsible for nursing and designated patient care functions / services within the hospital organization. The Director will oversee multi-unit nursing practices, assume 24 / 7 accountability for assigned areas, and support the CNO in ensuring high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care. The Director will also ensure staff competency and manage resources effectively to deliver optimal patient care.
Responsibilities :
- Assess, plan, coordinate, implement, and evaluate nursing practice across assigned units.
- Provide 24 / 7 oversight of assigned departments, ensuring high-quality patient care and operational efficiency.
- Lead a team of nursing professionals, ensuring their competency and fostering professional growth.
- Collaborate with senior leadership and other departments to support organizational goals and improve patient outcomes.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies.
- Act as a role model and advocate for the nursing profession.
