Compensation : $100,000 - $175,000 10% Bonus (Manager Level AIP)
Work Model : Primarily Remote, with Onsite Meetings as Needed
Overview
Wheeler Staffing Partners is seeking a Manager – BI & Analytics for our client in Addison, TX . This role is responsible for leading data analytics initiatives, developing BI strategies, and managing a high-performing BI / Analytics team . The ideal candidate must have strong expertise in SQL, Power BI, and Excel , along with experience in financial data, healthcare claims, and revenue cycle management . Candidates must have leadership experience and the ability to engage with stakeholders and business leaders .
Candidates may be required to complete a SQL assessment during the interview process.
Must be based in the DFW area and available for occasional onsite meetings.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Strategy
Define and execute the BI / Analytics strategy aligned with company objectives.
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing BI / Analytics team .
Partner with business leaders and stakeholders to translate business needs into data-driven solutions .
Data Management & Analysis
Oversee the development and maintenance of data pipelines, dashboards, and reporting tools .
Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security across systems.
Identify trends, patterns, and insights from large datasets to support strategic initiatives.
Technology & Tools
Optimize and implement BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or other visualization platforms .
Manage SQL databases, data modeling, and ETL processes to improve reporting capabilities.
Collaborate with IT teams to manage data warehouse systems and ensure scalability .
Collaboration & Communication
Work with Finance, Revenue Cycle Management, Operations, and Marketing to identify analytics opportunities.
Present findings and recommendations to executives and business leaders in a clear and compelling manner.
Develop and enforce data governance policies to ensure consistency and compliance.
Performance Metrics
Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the impact of BI initiatives.
Continuously improve BI processes to align with business objectives.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business Administration, or a related field.
7 years of experience in BI, data analytics, or a related role, with at least 2 years in a leadership position .
Experience in healthcare claims, financial data, or revenue cycle management is preferred .
Skills & Competencies
Expertise in BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms .
Proficiency in SQL , including building queries, data modeling, and ETL processes .
Strong knowledge of data quality, profiling, and analysis techniques .
Experience with cloud data systems (e.g., Snowflake) and ELT tools (DBT) is a plus .
Familiarity with machine learning, Python, R, or similar programming languages is a plus .
Ability to communicate technical insights to non-technical stakeholders .
Strong leadership, team management, and stakeholder engagement experience .
