SQL Data Analyst
Location: Addison, TX (DFW Area)
Salary: $90K - $115K 5% AIP Bonus (Flexible)
Assessment: May Require SQL Assessment
Wheeler Staffing Partners is seeking a SQL Data Analyst for our client in Addison, TX. This role is primarily remote, but candidates must be local and available for occasional onsite meetings. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in SQL, Power BI, and financial healthcare data analysis.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze data from multiple sources and create insightful reports.
- Identify and resolve data quality issues.
- Develop and standardize reporting objects, data, and logic at the database level.
- Design, automate, and test reports.
- Follow best practices for development, QA, and source code management.
- Maintain documentation and provide clear explanations of reports and metrics.
- Work closely with other developers to optimize processes.
- Gain deep knowledge of business data rules and assist teams in leveraging insights.
- Use agile methodologies and track progress on deliverables.
- Identify and implement process improvements.
- Build strong relationships with both business and IT stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- 4 years experience as a Data Analyst, BI Developer, or Data Quality Specialist.
- 4 years experience with SQL databases (tables, stored procedures, views).
- 3 years experience developing reports in Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.
- Expertise in SQL and data analysis.
- Experience with healthcare or financial data preferred.
- Strong ability to analyze and understand data relationships.
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and communicate effectively.
- Ability to collaborate across teams.
- Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience with cloud data platforms like Snowflake.
- Experience using ETL tools for data transformation and movement.
