Overview
Wheeler Staffing Partners is seeking a Staff Auditor for our client in Seguin, TX . This role is responsible for reviewing and analyzing company operations to ensure compliance with corporate policies, regulations, and best practices . The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in internal or external auditing , with a preference for those with experience in manufacturing environments and ERP systems such as JD Edwards .
Key Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley and other regulatory requirements .
Conduct on-site audits at North American manufacturing facilities.
Review records and procedures to identify deficiencies in controls, fraud risks, or non-compliance .
Assist in preparing audit reports , recommending corrective actions, and ensuring follow-ups are completed.
Investigate issues and concerns related to non-compliance or process inefficiencies .
Support company departments in identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes .
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field required .
1-3 years of experience in internal or external audit functions .
Strong knowledge of audit practices, compliance requirements, and regulatory standards .
Experience with JD Edwards or other ERP systems is a plus.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and detail-oriented skills.
Strong verbal and written communication abilities .
Ability to work independently and collaborate with executives, department managers, and audit teams.
Willingness to travel 20-25% domestically.
