Job Summary :
Seeking a Sustainability Coordinator to join our logistics team to support sustainability initiatives by managing logistics, coordinating resources, and integrating sustainable practices into daily operations. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, proactive, and capable of making decisions on the fly to optimize sustainability efforts and ensure efficient resource allocation.
Responsibilities :
Assist in planning, coordination, and execution of sustainability initiatives aligning with client goals.
Work with cross-functional teams to implement waste reduction and recycling programs.
Dispatch vendors and resources to sites, optimizing routes for efficiency and sustainability.
Monitor operations and adjust dispatch plans to optimize logistics and ensure timely completion.
Collaborate with vendors to address transportation and project execution challenges.
Analyze data to identify opportunities for efficiency improvement and footprint reduction.
Continuously refine routing plans to enhance sustainability outcomes.
Coordinate with vendors and recycling partners to ensure proper material handling and disposal.
Track and manage material movements to ensure compliance with sustainability goals.
Maintain strong relationships with partners to ensure consistent service delivery.
Ensure all activities comply with environmental regulations and sustainability standards.
Maintain accurate records of dispatch and sustainability activities.
Communicate sustainability goals and impact of operations to staff and leadership.
Develop contingency plans for potential operational challenges.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience Requirements :

3-5 years of experience in sustainability or operations roles, with at least 1-2 years of leadership experience.
Strong knowledge of sustainability principles, resource efficiency, and environmental regulations.
Proven ability to lead teams and manage sustainability projects.
Analytical mindset with experience in data analysis and reporting.
Excellent communication and leadership skills to influence cross-functional teams.
Strong project management skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and ability to navigate various software systems.
Highly desirable : fluency in a second language.
