About the Facility:
- 24/7 Emergency and Specialty Care: Emergency, Critical Care, Cardiology, Internal Medicine, Neurology, Urgent Care, Advanced Surgery, Vet Ortho, CrCL Surgery, TPLO Surgery, End-of-Life Care, In-Home Euthanasia.
- 15 Veterinarians on staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the hospital’s overall success, focusing on financial performance, staff development, client satisfaction, and marketing effectiveness.
- Be actively involved with staff and external stakeholders, including industry groups and community organizations.
- Manage financial health and growth, monitoring revenue, productivity, profit margins, and expenditures.
- Oversee daily hospital operations, employee support, training, and motivation.
- Develop and execute growth strategies alongside leadership.
- Manage facility, IT, administrative, and labor costs in line with budget expectations.
- Analyze and forecast DVM productivity, revenue trends, and profit margins.
- Enhance staff and client interaction protocols with the Hospital Manager and Client Care Manager.
- Act as a client liaison, ensuring top-tier client service.
- Partner with the marketing team to implement strategies for continuous growth.
- Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and hospital policies.
- Establish staff hiring, training, performance management, and disciplinary procedures.
- Collaborate with People Operations to develop staff support programs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospital Administration, or CVPM required.
- 5 years of hospital management experience in a large ER/Specialty hospital setting.
- Strong understanding of HR and labor laws.
- Master’s degree in Business or Hospital Administration preferred.
