Home Health Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)
Location : Desoto, TX
Pay : $35 - $45 per visit
Sign-On Bonus : $10,000
Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our home health team. In this role, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist (PT) to provide high-quality rehabilitative care to patients in their homes. You will play a key role in helping patients regain mobility, improve strength, and enhance their quality of life. This position offers flexibility, competitive pay, and the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with patients while working in a home setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement treatment plans established by the Physical Therapist to help patients recover from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions.
- Monitor patient progress and communicate findings to the Physical Therapist and healthcare team.
- Provide hands-on therapy, including exercises and mobility training, to improve movement, balance, and function.
- Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, safety precautions, and proper use of assistive devices.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient visits, progress notes, and any changes in condition.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Travel to patient homes within the assigned service area, providing compassionate and effective care.
