Temporary Accounting Clerk

Location : Remote (Dallas, TX)

Pay : $26.44 / hr

Schedule : Monday-Friday (8 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM or 8 : 30 AM – 5 : 30 PM)

Duration : 3-month (Potential for extension)

Overview

Wheeler Staffing Partners is seeking a Temporary Accounting Clerk for our client in Dallas, TX . This fully remote role supports the Accounting Manager in processing high-volume accounts payable transactions , reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with company policies.

Key Responsibilities :

Process accounts payable transactions accurately and efficiently.

Ensure compliance with company policies and financial procedures.

Resolve invoice discrepancies by collaborating with vendors and internal stakeholders.

Maintain organized financial records and documentation.

Update account reconciliations with processed transactions.

Support month-end closing processes .

Assist with various accounting tasks and special projects as needed.

Qualifications :

High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s degree in accounting or related field preferred).

2 years of experience in a high-volume accounts payable processing role .

Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) .

SAP Business One experience is a plus.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills .

Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment .
