POSITION SUMMARY Be part of an exciting new program in Connecticut designed to help children and teens in foster care thrive. The Bilingual Functional Family Therapy understands the importance of working relationally to support youth through family therapy with both the foster family and with the birth family or other permanency resource.  The clinical training, coaching, and ongoing support to therapists in FFT-FC is exceptional, with proven outcomes for youth, and greater satisfaction for foster families.  Join a team that is helping to make the experience of foster care better for all.   Salary-$60,000   Bilingual Stipend (Spanish and English) $4,576Annually    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work or other related field required. At least 1 year of experience working with behavioral health service delivery to children, adolescents and families is required. Experience working with the foster care population is preferred. Candidate must be able to speak fluently in both English and Spanish.   Must hold one of the following credentials: LMSW, LCSW, LMFTA, LMFT, LPCA, LPC or licensed or license-eligible Psychologist in the State of Connecticut.   LOCATION Office located in Plainville, CT and will also be working in the Waterbury community   SCHEDULE Full Time  EMPLOYEE BENEFITS At Wheeler, we're committed to not only supporting your career growth but also ensuring your well-being and security. Triages clinical emergencies and implements program specific safety and consultation protocols. Utilizes best practices and evidenced based practice models where appropriate and adheres to model and program expectations.  Communicates in a positive, effective manner with children, foster families, biological families, and all internal and external providers involved as required.   Attends all necessary internal and external meetings with foster care staff, providers, foster parents, and children associated with the foster care program. Provides support/direction to foster families to assist them in caring for the children placed in their homes. Monitors foster parent compliance with program expectations/policy and assists families in meeting these requirements. #IND123
