What will you do?
- Perform light cleaning duties around the hotel including vacuuming, dusting, mopping, sweeping, and restroom cleaning in both the front and back of the house
- Carry linens, towels, and supplies using wheeled carts
- Disinfect equipment and supplies using germicides or steam-operated sterilizers
- Empty wastebaskets, empty and clean ashtrays, and transport other trash and waste to disposal areas; distribute all recyclables into proper containers
- Observe precautions required to protect hotel and guest property and report damage, theft, and found articles to supervisors
More about you
- Six months of experience in housekeeping preferred
Physical requirements
- Ability to lift, move, and maneuver a minimum of 50 pounds and pull heavy carts and stock through the facility
- Ability to stand, bend, lift, and other ranges of motion for an extended time
